Operation Christmas Child 2024
Operation Christmas Child delivers great joy and the Good News of Jesus Christ to children in need around the world through gift-filled shoeboxes. Each box packed full of quality toys, school supplies, and personal care items becomes a tangible expression of God’s immense love for the child. For many, it is their first gift ever! Delivered by our local church partners, shoebox gifts provide an opportunity to present the Gospel to boys and girls in a clear, child-friendly way.
The Sewing Circle
The ladies sewing circle enjoys meeting together once a month to make quilts and knot comforter blankets. The comforters are donated to various local ministries and also sent internationally to Haiti and Mennonite Central Committee. The Quilts are also donated to local benefit auctions and the MCC Relief Sale. The sewing circle also supplies school bags that are filled with school supplies and sent to children in need through MCC and Haiti.It‘s a great way to serve the needs of others and enjoy fellowship with one another.
